- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the green cabbage, red cabbage, apple, pear, shredded carrots, walnuts, and dried cranberries. Toss to mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, caramel sauce, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify the dressing.
- Pour the vinaigrette over the slaw mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Cover the slaw and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled as a refreshing side dish.
Notes
- For a crunchier texture, add some sliced radishes or jicama.
- To make it vegan, substitute the honey with maple syrup and ensure the caramel sauce is dairy-free.
