Description
A creamy and delicious pasta dish featuring tender steak strips, garlic, and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, mixing until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and steak back into the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with chicken broth.
- You can also add sautéed vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor and nutrition.
