- 1 pound fresh squid, cleaned and sliced into rings
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Allow it to melt completely.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the squid rings to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the squid is opaque and cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the squid.
