Description
A delicious and easy recipe for Garlic Butter Steak Bites that are perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the steak cubes with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Toss to coat evenly.
- Set your Instant Pot to the sauté function and add the olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned steak cubes in a single layer. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. You may need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Remove the steak bites from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
- Return the steak bites to the pot and stir to coat them in the garlic butter.
- Close the lid of the Instant Pot, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 2 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is up, perform a quick release of the pressure.
- Carefully open the lid, stir the steak bites, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic.
- Serve the steak bites over a bed of mashed potatoes or cauliflower rice for a complete meal.
