A delicious and moist Honey Vanilla Banana Bread that is easy to make and perfect for breakfast or a snack.

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in the honey, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then mix in the flour and cinnamon (if using) until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- If desired, fold in the chopped nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding 1/4 cup of chocolate chips to the batter.
- You can also substitute half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour for a healthier option.
