Description

Spicy Korean Ramen with Grilled Beef and Creamy Sauce is a delightful dish that combines tender beef, flavorful ramen, and a rich creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces of ramen noodles
  • 1 pound of beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the beef broth, water, and brown sugar. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  7. Serve the ramen in bowls, topped with the grilled beef, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For added crunch, top the ramen with sliced cucumbers or pickled vegetables.
  • Substitute the beef with grilled chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
