- 2 cups milk (or any milk alternative)
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Whipped cream (for topping, optional)
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it is warm but not boiling.
- Add the white chocolate chips to the warm milk and stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the orange zest and vanilla extract, mixing well to combine all the flavors.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool for a minute.
- Pour the cocoa into mugs and top with whipped cream if desired.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds on top and add chocolate shavings for garnish.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use half-and-half instead of milk.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm spice twist.
