- 2 plain bagels, split in half
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the cheesy spinach artichoke mixture evenly over the cut sides of each bagel half.
- Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bagels are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a twist, try adding cooked bacon or diced tomatoes to the mixture for extra flavor.
- You can also substitute the plain bagels with everything bagels for a more robust taste.
- If you prefer a lighter option, use whole wheat bagels or low-fat cream cheese.
