Grilled Corn on the Cob in Foil Packets is a delicious and easy way to enjoy sweet corn at your next BBQ.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ears of fresh corn, husked and cleaned
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
- Cut four pieces of aluminum foil, each large enough to wrap an ear of corn completely.
- Place one ear of corn in the center of each piece of foil.
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Spread the butter mixture evenly over each ear of corn.
- If using, sprinkle chopped parsley over the corn for added flavor and color.
- Wrap each ear of corn tightly in the foil, making sure to seal the edges to prevent any steam from escaping.
- Place the foil packets directly on the grill grates and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender.
- Carefully remove the packets from the grill using tongs and let them cool for a few minutes before unwrapping.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeños to the butter mixture.
- Experiment with different herbs and spices, such as cumin or chili powder, to customize the flavor to your liking.
