- 2 (15-ounce) cans of sweet corn, drained
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the drained sweet corn, softened cream cheese, melted butter, sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until well mixed.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
- After 4 hours, add the heavy cream and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on low, uncovered, to thicken.
- Once done, give it a final stir and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or diced jalapeños.
- For a healthier option, substitute half of the cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
