- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shredded chicken, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for about 5 minutes until heated through.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the Avocado Lime Crema. In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado, sour cream, lime juice, salt, and garlic powder. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side or until pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a generous portion of the spicy chicken on each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and a drizzle of the Avocado Lime Crema. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
