Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for greasing

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small bite-sized patties, about 1 inch thick. Place the patties on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. If desired, broil the patties for an additional 2-3 minutes to get a nice golden color on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if using.
