Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well mixed and smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and crispy rice cereal until evenly distributed.
  3. Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down firmly with a spatula or your hands to create an even layer.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the bars to set.
  6. Once set, lift the bars out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into squares or rectangles.
  7. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
