Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Cooked rice or pasta for serving

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  5. Serve the garlic butter shrimp over cooked rice or pasta, drizzling any remaining sauce from the skillet on top.
