Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt ½ cup of unsalted butter until fully liquid. Stir in 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ¾ cup of white sugar and ¾ cup of brown sugar, whisking thoroughly.
  3. Add 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ¼ teaspoon of salt to the sugar mixture. Beat until smooth, then fold in the cooled chocolate mixture.
  4. Sift ½ cup of all-purpose flour and ⅓ cup of cocoa powder into the wet mixture. Fold gently until just combined.
  5. Roughly chop 1 cup of Oreos and fold into the brownie batter until evenly distributed.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8"x8" baking dish with parchment paper.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
