  • 1 cup cottage cheese low-fat or full-fat
  • 1 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes optional, for a thicker smoothie

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the strawberries, banana, cottage cheese, milk, honey (if using), and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thicker consistency, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
  3. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
